Michaella Jelin is a US based film & digital photographer living in NYC and available for travel worldwide.
Her photography is greatly influenced by both her design background & training in classical music. Her photographs feel the way a cello sounds like the human voice; warm, vibrant, soulful & full of life, mirroring the depth and richness of the human experience - images that feel lived in. There’s a palpable intimacy in her work, as if you are overhearing a private conversation as you pass through a crowd of people. Her photographs create a glimpse into these fleeting moments that remind us of the beauty found in the ordinary and the extraordinary alike.
She has her BFA in Graphic Design from Georgia State University. She is a recognized current artist by Counterpart Photo Collective, a global documentary photography collective. Her work has been published in The New York Times, People Magazine, BET, Brides, and more.
